Selection criteria

The selection criteria for the CR and DR competitions correspond to the evaluation criteria of the grade to which the candidate applies.

CRCN

In order to ensure consistency, the Section would like each of the 2 parts of the file, “Previous work” and “Research project”, to be between 10 and 15 pages long (font size 12, line spacing 1.5).

Presentation tips

If you are concerned, make sure to fill in the “Career break” section (maternity, parental, illness, training, contract breaks, etc.).

Publications
  • The different types of publications will be presented under separate headings (articles published in international peer-reviewed journals; articles published in national peer-reviewed journals; articles published in widely distributed journals; commentary; book chapters, etc) in a numbered list (from the oldest to the most recent).
  • For publications in refereed journals: in order to assess the published articles at their fair value, the Section recommends that, following each publication, the factor impact and/or quartile of the journal be indicated in the indexed database.
  • Articles in revision, submitted or in preparation, may be mentioned but should be put into a separate section, as well as articles in pre-review uploaded to the *Rxiv repositories.
Conferences
  • Mention the conferences in which presentations were given and the invited seminars and keynote speechs, if applicable.
Scholarships and grants
  • Specify whether the funding corresponds to a salary or a research grant. Also indicate your involvement in obtaining the financing (PI, co-PI, collaborator, etc,)
Supervision
  • Indicate the names of Master’s or Thesis students and supervised post-doctoral fellows in order to identify their publications.
Collective responsibilities

For each of the insured responsibilities, specify the load generated.

  • E.g.: Member of a collective interest group: your role, the number of monthly or annual meetings, the number of files evaluated,
  • Member of a thesis monitoring committee (amount, etc.)

DR2

In order to ensure consistency, the Section will appreciate that each of the 2 files “Previous work” and “Research project” should be between 15 and 20 pages maximum (font size 12, line spacing 1.5).
